Are is a club that reopened its former location, Lucent, in August 2022. The location is on the second floor of the Ginza Kaikan, and the interior is quite spacious as it uses half of the floor. It is one of the J Group, a large group of clubs in Ginza, and has a high name value and status; the J Group operates Creole on the first floor of the same building, J (J), the flagship club, and five other clubs in Ginza. The J Group is often said to have a flashy clientele that is not typical of Ginza, but this club seems to have a diverse clientele and there seems to be no bias in its clientele. The clientele is somewhere between the good old Ginza and the next generation Ginza.
