This spring, an unusual bookstore, Ginza Nanachome Bookstore, will appear on the basement floor of Maison des Musees du Monde (hereafter MMM) in Ginza 7-chome. The store will be open until May 31, 2024. Under the theme of "Enjoying Design," the store displays and sells memorable books selected by 21 renowned designers that transcend time and genre. In addition, there is a "special bookshelf" selected by the owner of the bookstore specializing in art and design.
MMM is an art space that also has a library function and a boutique aspect, jointly operated by the French National Union of Museums and DNP Co.

- Ginza Book Club: This is the subtitle of the event and features a concept that emphasizes interaction through books. The "Taisetsuna Books" exhibit will feature books personally selected by designers including Katsumi Asaba, Kaoru Kasai, Hideyuki Saitowo, and Shin Sobue, along with handwritten bookmarks describing the stories behind the three books selected by each designer.
- Selection of famous shopkeepers: Don't miss the display of books selected by the owners of Pagina, an antiquarian bookstore specializing in design, and Nostos Books, which sells international art books.

- Designer's Talk: Mariko Okazaki, Fumiho Tachibana, and Tomohiro Okazaki will talk about three books that are special to them.
- Exhibition of Fumiho Tachibana and Fragile Books: Fumiho Tachibana and her private gallery, Fragile Books, will present an exhibition on the theme of books.
In addition, the adjacent Ginza Graphic Gallery exhibits award-winning and nominated works from TDC 2024, an award for visual art of letters and words. For those interested in design and art, this is a great opportunity to visit Ginza.
