Rumors are spreading that a new upscale club will open in Ginza.

A popular sushi restaurant used to operate on the first floor of the Namiki Building, located in Ginza 8-chome along Namiki-dori. However, it closed in October 2021 due to the new coronavirus. Thereafter, no tenant moved in for some time.

Sushi Restaurant Era in Namiki Building

After closing, the Namiki Building remained vacant for a long time, but recently interior work has progressed and the exterior has been renovated. With its prime location on Namiki Dori, there is much interest in what kind of stores will open next.

The exterior of the first floor of the Namiki Building has been redesigned with a simple and elegant black base color. According to an acquaintance of Yuya Hachimine, the manager of this site, black clothes and someone who looks like a mom and pop have been coming in and out of the building between 5:00 and 7:00 pm in the evening. It is rumored that this may be related to preparations for the opening of the new restaurant.
