Gorgeous evening, attending "The Grand Imperial Charity Dinner" hosted by Mrs. Davy.

On October 8, 2024, we were honored to attend The Grand Imperial Charity Dinner hosted by Mrs. Davy.

Here is a report on the prestigious event.

The gorgeous attire of the participants and the atmosphere of the venue

The dinner required a solemn dress code of tuxedo and black tie for men, and I attended the event wearing a tuxedo for the first time in many years. Many celebrities gathered at the venue, and the scene was truly gorgeous.

The table near mine was filled with familiar faces, including fashion designer Don Konishi, singer Noriko Sakai, and celebrities Kaya Kawasaki, Uno Kanda, and Aya Sugimoto, creating an especially festive atmosphere.

Political heavyweights such as Hideo Higashikokubaru and former Minister of Finance Koriki Jojima also made an appearance, making it a special night that blended culture and politics.

Reunion with acquaintances and memorable entertainment

The dinner began with a greeting by Mrs. Davy and her guests, followed by a dinner time of fine cuisine, with entertainment in the second half of the evening.

First on stage was world-renowned magician Tatsuo Kamiguchi. He mesmerized the audience with his unique show that fused the traditional Japanese performing art of Wazuma with Western magic. His act was performed in Japanese attire and featured a series of stunning performances.

A fashion show by FLAMES JAPAN followed. Models walked around the stage and among the tables in the venue, giving the audience a chance to enjoy top-notch fashion up close. In addition, there was a surprising reunion! One of the models, Rin Asano, was a hostess I used to work with when I was working in the black uniform. We took a commemorative photo together, an unexpected reunion.

This was followed by a beautiful soprano recital by Ukrainian singer Oksana Stebanyuk, who filled the audience with her clear voice. The evening concluded with a ballet performance by the Momoko Tani Ballet Company, whose graceful and powerful performance was breathtaking. Even though it was my first time seeing ballet, I was so mesmerized that I found myself wanting to see other performances.

Luxury Auction and Lucky Raffle

After the entertainment, the silent auction began. The highlight of the auction was an oil painting by Mrs. Davy, which started at 850,000 yen and quickly rose in price, eventually selling for 9.9 million yen, to the surprise and delight of the audience.

The lucky raffle that followed also featured gorgeous prizes provided by Ammika and Kenichi Mikawa. Many participants participated in this raffle, which was held for charity, with high expectations.

Commemorative photo with Mrs. Davy

The evening concluded with a commemorative photo with Mrs. Davy. It was another wonderful memory of a glittering evening together.

Thank you, Mrs. Davy, for a wonderful dinner!
