プラダを着た”小悪魔”と同伴

I'm going to see *The Devil Wears Prada 2*. Normally, I'd just book a ticket and that would be it.

But Hachimine was different.

Hachimine had a custom suit made just for this day, inspired by *The Devil Wears Prada*. The tie, of course, was also from Prada.

He even invited a hostess from Ginza to join him for a movie. As far as he was concerned, his preparations were flawless.

Film Release and Accompaniment

The Devil Wears Prada 2" was released in May 2026. Twenty years after the last film, Miranda and Andy are back on the screen again in this much-talked-about film. When Hachimine learned of the sequel's release, he decided that he had no choice but to accompany the film.

And it was a hostess in Ginza who approached him.

"How about we go see 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' sometime?"

The invitation to accompany the movie is approved.

The day before, however, Hachimine is more enthusiastic than necessary.

I'll go with the Prada tie."

Yes."

It's Prada."

I know.

In case you haven't heard, it's Prada."

This isn’t so much a confirmation as it is a reaffirmation. There’s no doubt that Hachimine was the one who was looking forward to the movie more than anyone else.

The Two in Prada

On the day of the event, Hachimine was a little surprised to see the hostess who appeared in front of him.

She was wearing a Prada dress.

I've got it just right."

Then he smiles.

Hachimine, on the other hand, was not to be outdone. As he declared, he was wearing a Prada tie and a custom-made suit inspired by "The Devil Wears Prada.

From his own perspective, everything was in perfect order. But objectively speaking, Hachimine was simply caught up in the excitement of the film’s release.

A special movie experience at 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku

This time they visited 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku, located in Tokyu Kabukicho Tower. It is a cinema complex that is differentiated from ordinary multiplexes by the fact that it sells the “movie experience itself.

The first thing you will see when entering the theater is the exclusive lounge. There are sofas where you can relax until the screening starts, and drinks and popcorn are available.

All seats in the theater are premium seats. All seats in the theater are premium seats, with ample space in the front, back, left and right sides, designed to minimize fatigue even after long hours of screening. The sound system was supervised by musician Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Rather than a movie theater, the space is more like a combination of a luxury hotel lounge and a private theater.

."I didn't know there was such a cinema."

The hostess says, looking around.

The work is the star today, but so is the cinema."

Hachimine nodded in satisfaction. Even before the screening, the special time had already begun.

I'll be swept away before the screening.

We wait in the lounge for the movie to start. The hostess is looking around the theater, completely ignoring Hachimine.

This cinema is amazing."

I know you will. The work and the cinema are first class today."

Hachimine is good at it. Then she says.

"But I saw the last one a long time ago, so I don't really remember it."

Hachimine, lightly shocked.

There is a temperature difference, even though he had spoken so passionately about it the day before.

But once the movie started, she, too, was completely absorbed in it.

After the movie, and *The Devil Wears Prada*

After the screening, still basking in the afterglow of the movie, the two left Shinjuku and headed straight to the club where the hostess worked. Once they were seated, the conversation naturally turned to *The Devil Wears Prada 2*.

We clinked glasses as we got into a lively discussion about movies.

However—

Before I knew it, my empty glass was being refilled one after another.

"The movie was great today, so let's have a toast."

"Yeah, you're right."

Cheers.

After a while,

"Since we're here, why don't you have a drink of this, too?"

Here’s to that again. And also,

"This champagne is delicious."

Here’s to another toast.

We had started out talking about the movie, but before we knew it, there were bottles of champagne lined up on the table.

"Let's go out for drinks tonight."

The hostess laughs.

"No, you're the one making him drink it."

By the time I replied, she was already setting the pace. Flattered by her sweet words, I emptied my glass just as she suggested.

And before I knew it,

"Well, let's have another one."

He had ordered the champagne himself.

The movie was supposed to be the star of the show that day. But looking back, it seems as though everything—from Hachimine, who had been going on and on about Prada since the day before, to the hostess who showed up in a Prada dress—was just setting the stage for this turn of events.

On the way home.

Thank you for your time today."

When she smiles like that, I suddenly don’t care so much about the money I just spent.

I went to see *The Devil Wears Prada 2*, but what I ended up encountering was,

She was a “little devil” in Prada.
